SIYOM is finally returning to the stage.

After nearly three years away from live performances, SIYOM returns with a renewed spirit and a new sound shaped by resilience, reflection and the times we have lived through.

This concert is hosted on a Pay What You Want basis, with a minimum contribution of ₹350. Your presence and support will help sustain the independent music scene in Manipur and encourage artists to continue creating, even in times of crisis and conflict.

SIYOM

SIYOM is a folk-based ensemble from Imphal, Manipur, North East India. The name SIYOM symbolizes "mother’s womb", a metaphor of creative spirit. SIYOM takes inspiration from the art of Pena storytelling and folk tunes rooted in the soil of Manipur. Their compositions reinterpret folk narratives through contemporary expressions that engage alternative sensibilities and appeal beyond language, culture and age.

Their music offers an experience to reflect on truth, the nature of reality, ecological consciousness, cultural memory, and artistic liberation. SIYOM breathes contemporary life into ancient poetry and folk wisdom.

They extend their work beyond the stage and are dedicated to social issues and humanitarian efforts connecting with people in disability homes, de-addiction centres, orphanages, old-age homes, and relief camps to make healing and transformative journeys possible.
