About

When Chai Met Toast (or WCMT) is a multilingual indie/alternative quartet from Kochi, Kerala. Formed in 2016, the band has garnered a dedicated following and an impressive discography featuring English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam lyrics. Consisting of vocalist Ashwin Gopakumar, guitarist Achyuth Jaigopal, keyboardist Palee Francis and drummer Pai Sailesh, the collective made a swift rise, while their energetic live performances have endeared them to crowds internationally.

They balance their folk-pop roots with an unmistakable essence of indie rock and alternative rock. The quartet officially came into being with their debut EP "Joy of Little Things", which was widely acclaimed by critics and listeners alike. Their debut full-length studio album, "When We Feel Young" exudes pop sensibilities while retaining some of their previous English folk-indebted sound. They have continued to experiment their sound. Their eclectic but accessible brand of pop music makes them festival favorites in the country.

Is there an age limit? 12 years is the age limit for attending the concert. What is the duration of the show? The duration of the show is 4 hours. Do I need to be vaccinated to get into the venue? In the best interest of fans and staff, we are monitoring local COVID-19 trends and will meet protocols mandated by local governments. By purchasing tickets to this event, you agree to abide by the health and safety measures in effect at the time of the event, which may include, but not be limited to, wearing mask, providing proof of vaccination status and/or providing proof of negative COVID-19 test. What time do gates open? Gates open at 2pm, closes at 9pm Will there be F&B available at the venue? Yes, food and beverages will both be available for purchase at the venue, outside food and beverages will not be permitted. Is the venue indoor or outdoor? The venue is an outdoor space Is this is a seated event? No, this is not a seated event; tickets on ground will be standing. Will there be any breaks in the show? No there is no break or intermission to this show. Is there a ticket which allows me to buy a meet and greet with the artist? Unfortunately, no, there is no meet & greets with the artist available. Are children allowed for the show? The age limit for this show is ages 12 and above, however children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Do you accommodate people will special needs? Yes we do accommodate people with special needs, please reach out to our customer care number to avail this service. Is there parking available at the venue? There is parking space at the venue. Is photography permitted during the show? Professional cameras (detachable lens) and video cameras are strictly prohibited through the show; however phone cameras will be permitted. How will I get my tickets? Your tickets will be mailed to your registered mail ID which needs to be exchanged at the box office with the wrist band. Are there group bookings available? In the event that the show is cancelled, we will reschedule another date and time equivalent to the size of the event. How do I get refund if I can’t make it? Tickets once purchased cannot be refunded. There will be no exceptions made.
