Our land is a home to diverse communities. In keeping with the spirit of the time, this festival is organized with the aim of bringing us all together as one. Music, which is a universal language can break down any barrier and can unify us all.
LILIAC
The 'First Family of Rock', is a 5-piece hard rock band from Los Angeles. The band is fronted by Melody, lead guitarist Samuel, drummer Abigail, bassist Ethan and keyboardist Justin. The sibling's talents were discovered by their dear father, Papa Liliac, also the band's manager and producer.
AFTER MANY CRAZY NICHTS, THEY HONED THEIR CRAFT AS WEEKEND STREET PERFORMERS ON THE SANTA MONICA PIER. THEIR SOUND TAKES THE LISTENER BACK TO A TIME WHEN ROCK WAS COMPLEX BUT TOLD A STORY!

This festival is a stepping stone for revival of our good old Classic Rock Music. It will be an annual event, with an exclusive mission to revive our long-gone Classic Rock Bands from around the world. Likeminded people from across the globe have joined hands to make this possible. It aims to create that closeness and bond over Classic Rock !
ABOUT US
About Us is an experimental hard rock musical band from Nagaland. The current band line up: Sochan- vocals; Renlamo- Guitars; Ponn- Guitars; Soren- Bass; Lich Kithan- drums; and Renbomo: Keyboard.
About Us first formed in the winter of 2019, with the members having spent the last 15 years or so in different bands and projects before coming together. Their collective musical taste runs the gamut from AOR, hard rock, metal, and more, with all of these varied influences reflected on their debut album. The band released their first single ‘Loaded Love‘ in late December 2020 followed in April 2021 by their first music video, “Gimme Gimme”. The music video reached almost half a million viewers in a short time and was heralded by the editor of a popular daily in their area, Morung Express, who declared "ROCK IS BACK". The song subsequently won two back to back awards in the Best Rock category at the MG Nagaland Music Awards (June 23, 2021) and the Music Awards of Nagaland (October 16, 2021). Wrapping up a busy 2021 for About US, the band released their self-titled debut album in their home country and a second music video, 'Right Now'. The band eventually found their way to Frontiers Music Srl, who were deeply impressed with their innovative take on the melodic rock genre. Prepare for a huge breath of fresh air upon the scene when About Us' self-titled debut album lands later this year with a proper global release.

The Wishess

The Wishess were formed in 2011 when the alternative scene was in its formative years. They've managed to preserve the flame as a band in their 10 years of existence despite the inconveniences of a scene so sparse. Their sound took shape when they resorted to wide vocals, compressed guitars with delay-laden riffs and powerful drums. 🥁🔥
Their full-length studio album "Our Pride" was released in February, 2019 and cemented their sound of an alternative band with a penchant for social, political, and personal subject matter in the backdrop of radiant guitar chords. 🌟
Their live performances are for the spectacle and energy, which deservedly earned them the "Winner of SHIROCK 2017". They are: @bishi_th on vocals, @izzynaw on lead guitars, @bona_so on rhythms, @neopoo_kipgenon on bass with @ck_nongthombam behind drums.
Alaamle Heraang
Senapati
Alaamle Heraang is a mezzo-soprano from Senapati who has brought a fine balance of husky and raspy (which the song calls for) and captivated listeners with her energy and soul. Her voice is like a spiritual medium which can channel the likes of Amy Winehouse, Judy Collins, Adele or Bonnie Tyler at will. 🎶
While her gospel and soul roots are evident, she can flawlessly handle songs of different practices, from that of Robert Plant to Soko. She rose to prominence after winning TRIBAL EUPHONY Season 2 in 2018, cementing her earlier streak of becoming a runner-up at BARAK VOICE 2015. 🎭😲
One of the few solo artists in Asia to have opened for bands like Nazareth, @alamle_heraang has shared the same stage with Extreme (yes, with Nuno Bettencourt) at Shirock 2019. Her impressive wins will not be surprising when you see her live and she delivers her masterful vocals at different registers 😌
Variation 4 Churachandpur
We're featuring the dandy @variation_4_records, or otherwise the dynamic funk band from Churachandpur that performs quality renditions and tight covers of popular blues and funk numbers which you can name from the radio. 📻
Reminiscent of musical groups like Scary Pockets and Pomplamoose, our own Variation 4 is fronted by the award-winning Etta-James-like vocalist @jenny_thomte with ace guitarist @lalsang_donald on guitars while @undyinghz (percussion) and @pg_muan (bass) maintain the groove, hence creating a wall of sound for @mwanlaltunglut to lace it with his keyboard.
