Wahyum Trail (Fun) Run Is Back: A Run Like Manipur Has Never Seen Before
Wahyum Festival’s own Wahyum Trail Run is back on 19 December 2026, bringing runners together for an experience that goes far beyond the usual marathon.

Created in collaboration with Forged Run Club, the Fun Run is designed for those who love running, the outdoors, music and a little adventure. The previous edition received an encouraging response from the running community, with participants appreciating its unique route, atmosphere and the experience of running through a setting that felt different from a conventional road race.
This year, Wahyum is taking that idea even further.
This is not just another marathon.
Wahyum Trail Run is a fun run with a hilly trek, where the route itself becomes part of the adventure. Runners can expect changing terrain, climbs, natural surroundings and checkpoints that turn the run into something to be experienced rather than simply completed.
And there is a first-of-its-kind twist.
Run. Trek. Feel the Music. Run Again.
For the first time in Manipur, live music sessions will be placed between the checkpoints, creating moments where runners can recharge and get motivated by live performances before continuing their journey. Instead of the usual silence, hydration stations and countdown clocks, imagine reaching a checkpoint after a challenging climb and finding live music waiting for you.
The music becomes part of the route.
The hills become part of the challenge.
And the runners become part of the experience.
With Forged Run Club bringing its running community and expertise, Wahyum aims to create an event where experienced runners can challenge themselves while first-time participants can simply come out, have fun and discover a different side of running.
Because Wahyum Run isn't about who finishes first.
It is about the climb, the trail, the music, the people and the memories you make along the way.
On 19 December 2026, don't just come for a run.
Come for the experience.
