About Iyaz

Keidran Kenmore Jones, popularly known by his stage name Iyaz, is a singer, songwriter, and performer from the British Virgin Islands. He gained international fame in 2009 with his debut single “Replay”, which became a global hit—reaching the top charts in multiple countries, including the US, UK, and Australia. The song’s catchy hook (“Shawty’s like a melody in my head…”) made it one of the most recognizable pop-R&B anthems of the late 2000s.

Discovered by Sean Kingston, Iyaz quickly became known for blending Caribbean rhythms with pop and R&B sounds, creating a unique tropical pop style that resonated worldwide. Following “Replay,” he released other popular singles like “Solo”, “Pretty Girls”, and collaborations with international artists including Miley Cyrus, Travie McCoy, and Charice.
